Carvertise Taps Mark Hogan as New VP of Sales
Hogan to play a key role in the company’s mission to triple revenue and implement a gold standard for data analytics in the OOH industry.
August 6, 2024– Following a nationwide search, Carvertise, the Nation’s largest rideshare advertising company, has named sales veteran Mark Hogan as its new VP of Sales. Hogan will work closely with revenue operations, finance, operations and other divisions to improve cross-functional communication and lead the company on its mission to triple revenue over the next five years.
“This is a highly collaborative, game-changing position for Carvertise,” says CEO Mac Macleod, whose firm grew nearly 200% between 2019 and 2022, maintaining its spot on the latest Inc. 5000 fastest-growing business in the U.S. for the third consecutive year.
Hogan joins Carvertise with 20+ years of experience focusing on revenue growth and driving new client acquisition. “ Most recently, he served as Head of Sales for IONOS (division of United Internet) where he was responsible for optimizing the North American market position for Cloud and Agency Hosting platforms. Before that he spent 12 years at Sungard where he was responsible for building the U.S. commercial sales organization. “
“I am excited to be part of such a dynamic and innovative team,” Hogan said. “Carvertise’s vision to couple rideshare advertising and advanced data analytics will become the standards for brands to drive awareness.”
Macleod first announced his plan to ramp up Carvertise’s executive ranks in June of 2023, when the company celebrated the grand opening of its new, 15,000-square-foot headquarters in Wilmington’s Riverfront. In addition to recently hiring James Stover, formerly of Rappi, as VP of Revenue Operations, Carvertise is also investing heavily in engineering and created a new team of five engineers in 2023 to build out the company’s technology infrastructure. All of these moves have the same aim, according to Macleod: “We’re looking to transform the velocity of our sales cycle while implementing a gold standard for data analytics in the OOH industry,” he said.
