Wildstone names Carlos Pestaña as new Managing Director for Spain

Carlos joins Wildstone as the outdoor media infrastructure firm prepares for significant growth in the Spanish market

24th February 2025: Wildstone, the leading owner of outdoor media infrastructure, has appointed Carlos Pestaña as Managing Director Spain as the company increases its presence in the Spanish market. Wildstone currently owns over 2,000 outdoor advertising panels across Spain, having entered the market in 2022.

Carlos joins Wildstone with 30 years’ experience in the real estate sector, specialising in shopping centres and retail parks. Throughout his career he has worked in development, property, asset management and investment management across a number of prominent multinational companies, including Gentalia (Grupo LAR), Oaktree Capital and Auxideico (ING and ECE member). Since 2011, Carlos has been a member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the Spanish Council of Shopping Centres and Retail Parks.

In his new role, Carlos will lead on expanding Wildstone’s presence in the Spanish market by enlarging its portfolio through acquisitions and partnerships, as well as driving the upgrade and digitisation of existing assets.

The new appointment is a signal of Wildstone’s ambitious plans for the Spanish market. Last year, Wildstone entered into its latest Spanish partnership with one of Spain’s leading out-of-home media operators, Alpha Publicidad Exterior, and will shortly launch new locations across the Madrid, Alicante and Córdoba districts.

The company is also expanding its presence in a number of other regions outside its home market of the UK, most notably in Germany and Australia.
