Salt Lake City delivered more than just mountain views this Spring—it gave us the perfect backdrop for one of the most energizing IBO Conferences yet.

Independent Billboard Operators from across the country gathered for four days of insight, innovation, and inspiration. With a jam-packed agenda, meaningful conversations, and a renewed sense of community, this event reminded us why we do what we do—and how far we can go when we do it together.

Standout Sessions that Sparked Conversation

The educational sessions were a clear highlight, offering practical tools and forward-thinking strategies:

    • “The Beginner’s Guide to Gen AI in OOH” with Dino Burbidge – Dino captivated the room with a session that made artificial intelligence approachable and exciting. Attendees walked away with a fresh perspective on what exactly is AI and how it can help streamline operations, personalize campaigns, and drive better results in Out of Home.
    • “Where Does Revenue Growth Really Come From?” with Gerry Tabio – Gerry Tabio challenged operators to focus on the clients that drive the most impact. He emphasized that true growth comes from managing key accounts, using a proactive, marketing-based sales process, and delivering creative campaigns that help clients win more business.
  • “Good Credit and Collection Practice” with Meadow Outdoor – Delivered a standout session packed with practical advice and proven systems. Their real-life collection strategies, complete with templates and insider tips, were a game-changer for many in the room. We’re especially grateful for their willingness to be transparent and share what’s actually working in the field.
  • Family Legacies in Focus: Stories from YESCO and Reagan OutdoorIn a moving tribute to the roots and resilience, family members from YESCO and Reagan Outdoor shared personal stories of legacy, leadership, and the values passed down through generations. Their reflections reminded us that at the heart of every great billboard company is a family, a story, and a vision that transcends business.
  • Panel Discussions that Delivered – Our panel lineup sparked powerful conversations, from practical advice to big-picture trends. Operators gained insight into what corporate landlords really want, how to leverage trusted audience data, and the evolving landscape of billboard operations.

Round Tables that Delivered Real Value

One of the most talked-about elements of the week was our newly structured round table format. Each group tackled a core theme, giving operators a chance to swap stories, share solutions, and leave with new ideas to implement right away.

Topics included:

  • Industry Trends & Innovation
  • Sales & Revenue Growth
  • Growth and Expansion
  • Operational & Team Management

These dynamic discussions gave attendees the chance to connect directly with others in similar roles and markets—making the sessions as collaborative as they were educational.

A Big Return: The Indie Impact Awards

Back by popular demand, the Indie Impact Awards returned to celebrate excellence in independent Out of Home. From creative brilliance to community impact, these awards honored operators who are raising the bar for the entire industry.
