Halloween movie billboard hijacked by street artist
Several billboards in the Hollywood, CA area were hijacked yesterday by street artist “Sabo”. The billboards promote the release of the new “Halloween” movie about the infamous Michael Myers character. It appears Sabo printed Maxine Waters face onto a substrate and then replaced the faces on the billboards.
Sabo is a conservative street artist from California who’s other works feature Trump, Willie Nelson, Ted Cruz and others. Apparently this billboard hijack was in response to the congresswoman’s statement “If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd,” Waters said at a rally in Los Angeles. “You push back on them and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”
