Lamar Transit Advertising and Butte Regional Transit to Expand Advertising Offerings for Northern California Businesses
Baton Rouge, LA – September 1, 2022 – Lamar Advertising Company (Nasdaq: LAMR) today announced that Butte Regional Transit (B-Line Transit), a Lamar transit advertising partner in Chico, CA, will now permit brands to advertise on all sides of its transit buses and will add streetside and curbside advertising products to its existing inventory as a result. This expansion will include a range of new inventory options including, but not limited to, Full Sides, King Kongs, Kongs, Kings and Queens.
“Butte Regional Transit has established a long-standing partnership with Lamar for the management of shelters and advertising inventory on our fleet of fixed-route vehicles,” said Andy Newsum, Deputy Director/Project Manager at Butte County Association of Governments. “We are pleased to announce this expanded relationship with Lamar that will provide new advertising opportunities for the local business community while also enhancing the B-Line service for our customers.”
The additional transit advertising products will extend to B-Line’s fleet of 30 buses serving the Chico, Oroville and Paradise areas, while also bringing added coverage to the 78 existing advertising shelters currently offered across the area. The expansion will extend the reach of Northern California advertisers in Chico, the largest city north of Sacramento.
