Roland Creates Vintage Style Billboard & Advertisement
In the small town of Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee, you’ll find a unique roadside billboard created to resemble the vintage structures from the 1940s. The double-sided poster was created by Roland Digital Media. Dave Roland created the billboard to reflect the hometown, Mayberry-Esque feel of the town.
The billboard was also equipped with its very own custom fabricated retro-style police car, with a photo of one of the city’s police officers sitting inside. Who gladly posed for the photo.
Continuing with the retro/vintage theme, a local advertiser (Bransford Heating & Cooling) agreed to have their ad designed in a retro fashion to make the look complete.
The billboard has become somewhat of a local landmark over the years, and when the police car was temporarily removed for maintenance, locals began asking where the car had been taken and if someone had stolen it.
