Traditional & Mobile Billboard Companies – A Partnership Opportunity
While chatting with one of our Tasty Ad partners, Rod Collins of Bulldog Mobile Billboards (Headquarters: Dallas, Tx), an interesting topic came up… Traditional billboard companies and mobile billboard companies working together to give advertisers total advertising reach, when and where they want it. You see, a lot of these companies see each other as competition. So they are reluctant to work together out of fear that one or the other will take the advertiser from them. Or, neither of them have reached out to each other or been introduced.
.
There are many cases in which an advertiser may need traditional billboards as well as mobile billboards to execute a campaign.
.
If an advertiser wants to target a specific location in which you have no traditional pole billboards for an event or product roll-out, partnering with a mobile billboard company can fill that advertiser’s need and keep them from going to another billboard company.
.
A new business wants to do a short-term blast and your availability is low. Coordinate with a mobile billboard company to fulfill the advertiser’s needs.
.
And vice versa… a mobile billboard company has an advertiser in need of a more permanent location. Or they need more locations than they have advertising trucks for. They have a traditional billboard company partner they can go to, which ensures the advertiser’s needs are met.
.
While not all people are honest, the vast majority are. So why not at least spark up a conversation with a fellow advertising company that can help fill the needs of your advertiser? Especially if you can white label the service? Meaning your advertising client goes through you for everything and you coordinate the campaign with the mobile billboard company.
.
“The mobile billboards, whether vinyl or LED offer flexibility to be when and where their clients dictate. In addition, the trucks can often park for a period of time on-site to temporarily increase signage significantly for the program launch. The integrated advertising approach of combining the two OOH powerhouse options can improve impact significantly. In addition, there is a benefit to using matching/corresponding art and design to further improve recognition.”.
